Public Forum – March 12, 2026

On March 12, 2026, the Peaslee School Building Committee held its first public forum to introduce the school building project and gather community input. The meeting provided an overview of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) process, the project timeline, and the work completed to date.

Attendees heard from the project team about existing conditions at the school, including space limitations, aging infrastructure, and the need to meet modern educational and accessibility standards. The forum also introduced potential options under consideration, including renovation/addition and new construction, as well as possible grade configurations.

Community members were encouraged to share feedback—particularly on building design and grade structure—and to stay engaged throughout the process. This input will help guide the Committee as it refines options and moves toward a preferred solution.
