Where can I dispose of sharps?

Northborough residents can dispose of sharps at the Health & Human Services Department during Town Hall hours.

• Sharps must be stored in a sharps container.
• All sharps containers must be closed and locked.

• If you need a sharps container, we encourage you to check with your healthcare provider - many can provide or prescribe sharps containers

Where can I dispose of medication?

Northborough residents can dispose of unwanted, unused, or unneeded prescription medications at the Police Department. The drop box is located in the lobby and available 24/7. Needles and sharps are not accepted here.
